| Bio: | Hey there. I am a painfully small-time local media personality from the Midwest who's planning to move to Austin, Texas sometime in June or July of 2008. Put simply, I'm bored with my surroundings and need a change. Let's see what I can get into down south. I have no job lined up, no apartment, nothing. I do not know anyone in Austin though I have family in Texas a few hours away. It's just a great city with a relatively low cost of living where I decided in mid-2007 that I should relocate. If I've added you recently then it's because you're either an Austin resident that I think is worth knowing or you're someone in the same boat as I, someone with whom I can compare notes. At some point I'll get around to dropping my resume out of planes, but until then just know me as a freelance entertainment writer (with clips), a graphic designer (with samples!) and a gifted promo strategizer. I'm comfortable in front of a camera and behind a microphone and I have the tapes to prove it. More on all that later. WHAT I MAY TALK ABOUT

THINGS I WILL BE BRINGING ALONG I won't drop many personally identifying details about myself in this journal-- most of my close friends know what I'm up to (and if you're one of them and you stumble on this journal, humor me and don't reference our relationship). It's just that I work at a place that treats me great, a place I'm going to have a really tough time walking away from emotionally, financially and creatively... but when the time comes, I've gotta do what I've gotta do. I'd just as soon prefer they not know about what I've gotta do until I'm ready to share the info. | ||
